Jazz singer and bassist
Nick Bresco was born in Dubrovnik, Croatia into a family of artists.
Bathed in music from an early age, he began the violin at the age of 5 at the music school in Dubrovnik, then he decided to turn to the double bass to follow in his father's footsteps and his taste for Jazz Pop and Funky.
After an adolescence shared between studies and the scene of the Café Jazz Familial, he obtained his diploma of higher education at the music academy of LOVRAN in Croatia.
In 2009 after several years in a group, during a long stay in New York, Nick discovered an interest in singing and self-taught he began a solo career as a singer-double bassist and created the Nick Bresco brand.
He launches himself as well into the great standards of Jazz as into the mythical titles of Pop which he interprets in double bass.
Since 2013, the chance of encounters has led him to share his life between Dubrovnik and Paris where he has had the opportunity to perform on a few major stages (New-Morning, Sunset-Sunside, Gibus, 38 Riv'...) and to indulge in his other passions are photography and digital art.
